Devil’s Elbow Racing Club is a Non Profit Organization administered by volunteers who donate their time and efforts to support an enduring club tradition of challenge, excitement, skill development, and achievement for generations of young people!

PROGRAMS
CHRISTMAS CAMP
All Devil’s Elbow Club Racers participate in a 5-day training camp held during the Christmas Holidays. Time trials for traveling team selections follow this camp.
HOUSE LEAGUE
Racers 7-14 (Born 1997-2004) participate in four races during the season, ending with a championship final race. All training is done only at Devil’s Elbow.
NANCY GREENE LEAGUE
Integrated with our House League program, racers 9 & 10 (Born 2001/2002) participate in four race events according to a schedule from A.O.S.D.
SWISS CHALET K1 LEAGUE
Racers aged 11 & 12 (Born 1999/2000) participate in four regular races according to the schedule from A.O.S.D., plus finals and regional championships.
SWISS CHALET K2 LEAGUE
Racers aged 13 & 14 (Born 1997/98) participate in four regular races according to the schedule from A.O.S.D., plus semi-finals and finals.
MIELE J LEAGUE
Racers aged 15-19 (Born 1992-96) participate in four regular races according to the schedule from A.O.S.D., plus semi-finals and finals.
SPECIAL EVENTS
Various invitational races and A.O.S.D. programs are available at additional cost throughout the season. These include: March Series Racing, Gooch Super-G, Skill Development Camps, etc.. Consult your coach or Race Club administration for details.
DETAILS
Team Selections:
Each team consists of a maximum of thirteen racers (usually seven males and six females). House League teams will vary; some may have all male or all female racers, depending on age and ability.
Criteria for travelling team selection are as follows:
i) Racer’s Past Results ii) Coach’s Input iii) Racer’s Age iv) Time Trials v) Attendance
COSTS
Cost for 2011/2012:
House League (includes Christmas Camp) $375 + HST (lift tickets or season pass extra)
Travelling League Teams (includes Camp) $455 + HST (lift tickets or season pass extra)

Safety:
Devil’s Elbow Racing Club administration and coaches emphasize safety during ski racing and training. Our programs are administered by qualified Alpine Canada officials who have been trained and certified to manage safe training and racing environments. Whether it is during the Christmas Camp or regular season, racers are expected to follow ALL RULES explained to them by their coaches. Parents and racers are also encouraged to ask their coach or any Devils Elbow Racing Club representative any questions regarding safety at any time. Cooperation between the racers, parents, coaches and the race club administration will facilitate a safe and fun experience for everyone involved.
Helmets are mandatory for all racers.
Parent Participation:
Parents are required for duties such as gate keeping, time keeping, etc., and are encouraged to volunteer.
